History
Since 2012, Fuzhou Lakeside American High School has been providing authentic American Secondary level educational programing to students in Fuzhou and beyond. FLIS High School is the exclusive American High School program in Fuzhou city backed by the local Ministry of Education and subject to local educational authority. FLIS High School is located beside West Lake in Gulou District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Our student body is a blend of local and international students, which requires a diverse teaching team to placate. We offer fully accredited and quality assured programs equal to High School programs in the USA and certified through our relationship with Griggs International Academy(GIA). We employ the most qualified American teachers and have developed a unique American High School curriculum that suits the particular needs of the modern global student, with specific focus on study and use of both academic and social English, college preparation, exploring cultural awareness, and preparing for success as a global citizen.
