Language Use Policy

FLIS maintains a distinct policy of language use in order to encourage student adaptation and success in a global environment and encourage students to become skilled learners within our unique American curriculum system. As such, English is the official and preferred language at FLIS, as it is for international communication. Since FLIS holds the goal of producing global citizens capable of success, we insist that all students here must be able to function in both an academic English environment as well as a social English environment. It is because of this that we hold an "English Priority" policy while on the FLIS campus and at all school functions.
